HOW TO SPOT A NARCISSISTS ?
Do you know how exactly the word "NARCISSISM" came to existence ??
so the story goes like there was a Greek boy named Narcissus who fell in love with his own reflection and died staring at it(self obsession!!!)
however, narcissism turns out to be more complicated than what we perceive. And to spot a narcissist,is an art and I am going to help you get yourself out from this abuse cycle and spot them from a distance
By definition this people are very self obsessed they don't care about others. They as person are good manipulators basically want someone around them that will feed their inflated persona.
So if you look from a bird eye perspective there are 2 types of narcissists
the grandiose type and the vulnerable type
there more sub types but lets just understand the basics first
SHALL WE???
1. Grandiose Narcissists Personality Type:
This are the type of people that introduce you to the subject of narcissism.
I mean they are so common and known that we know this type.
this are the people who think they are walking 8th wonder of the world and they deserve all the admiration .the grandiose type are arrogant, entitled, exploitative, and envious.
they lack empathetic responses, they are so mean that they don't even realize they are mean they never learn from their past mistakes
how to spot them?:
this type are the that are charming and always have people around them, like queen bee.once you befriend them they make rules which only apply to you and they manipulate you in such a way that you can't hold them accountable for their actions,
they are the attention seeker, and often try to make you feel guilty
the best thing is to cut of ties with this kind of people.
2. Vulnerable Narcissists Personality Type:
This are the silent killer and i swear they are the most dangerous type. They aren't
as obvious as you might think. childhood trauma is the main reason why someone develops this NPD. they always fear rejection, they always go back and forth from feeling superior and inferior
how to spot them?
this type will lack of empathy, be "cold" and withdrawing in social situations that threaten their value. they associate their confidence with their looks and they constantly require reassurance, they may appear shy but are easily threatened. They pay a lot of attention in their looks and often seek validation from it.
frankly speaking any and every type is scary and we should stay away from that being said its really safe for a person to get out of this cycle in the most respectable manner instead of making it ugly and difficult, because you will suffer instead of the sufferer.
